Elton John is one of the main attractions at Rock in Rio 2026 and will close the Palco Mundo lineup on Monday (7), which is Brazil's Independence Day holiday. The British singer is scheduled to take the stage at 11 PM, in a performance that marks his return to the stage after the break announced in 2023 and will be his only show in Brazil.
Before Elton John, the Palco Mundo audience will be able to watch the shows of Luísa Sonza with Roberto Menescal, Jon Batiste and Gilberto Gil. The expectation is for a special evening, considering that the British artist has not performed in the country for some time.
For those who won't be at the City of Rock, there will be different options to watch the performance live. The main one will be TV Globo, which will broadcast Elton John's show live on open TV, with the transmission expected to start before the performance, around 10:45 PM.
