The band Quantum, formed in Baixada Fluminense in 2015, debuted at Rock in Rio and still cannot believe what happened. The five-member group opened the proceedings at Espaço Favela on Saturday (5), the day dedicated to metal at the event. The performance took place partially in the rain, which did not prevent the audience from attending and supporting the show. The musicians were surprised by the audience's reaction, which included fans, family members, and even strangers. Drummer Ali Ghazzaoni said the receptivity is still sinking in. He explained that, since it was the band's first time at the event and there was a chance of rain, they were uncertain whether the audience would be willing to follow the show. Ghazzaoni highlighted that two phenomena occurred: first, when they took the stage, they already found many people in the audience, and second, as they kept playing, they realized the audience was enjoying the music.
