Chega insists on lowering taxes on fuels and accuses Montenegro of hypocrisy

The Chega party once again advocated for lowering taxes on fuels during a 'rentrée' initiative organized by its Lisbon district. The event took place in the municipality of Loures, in the Lisbon district.

André Ventura, leader of Chega, was the main speaker at this political event and took the opportunity to accuse the Prime Minister, Luís Montenegro, of hypocrisy regarding the fuel tax issue.

Chega's position contrasts with the policy of the PSD/CDS-PP government, which has not implemented significant reductions in fuel taxes, thus generating Ventura's criticism of hypocrisy.
