Jesús Cintora, a TVE journalist, reacted tonight on the 'Malas Lenguas Noche' program against PP leaders, Alberto Núñez Feijóo and Isabel Díaz Ayuso, for continuing to point the finger at the public television channel after the attacks suffered by professionals from the station during demonstrations.
The escalation of attacks against TVE professionals reached its peak on Wednesday, September 2, during the demonstrations called in support of Ceuta. Some of these demonstrations ended up being taken over by far-right groups that charged against the Government.
In this context, Jesús Cintora called on the PP to leave TVE journalists alone, denouncing that the public channel continues to be the target of political criticism even after the violent incidents against its reporters.
The journalist stressed that public television professionals must be able to carry out their work without being continuously questioned or attacked, demanding that Popular Party leaders respect the informative function of the state channel.
