Rock in Rio states it is monitoring possible heavy rains and advises audience to bring rain gear

Rock in Rio issued guidance to the public attending the festival this weekend, given the forecast of heavy rain and possible thunderstorms for Sunday (6). The organization sent a note to CBN with recommendations for spectators to bring rain ponchos, closed comfortable footwear, and sweaters, due to the expected drop in temperature. The festival stated that the public should "come prepared to have the best possible experience in all weather conditions."

The event has the support of meteorology specialists who work in real time with the Operational Control Center. This monitoring serves to provide data and information that support operational decision-making, always prioritizing people's safety and, secondarily, the preservation of the festival's structures.

The Alerta Rio system, linked to the City Hall of Rio de Janeiro, revealed the chances of rain showers and strong winds for the festival period. Rock in Rio reinforces that it is monitoring the weather conditions and maintains constant surveillance to guarantee the safety of participants.
