The parliamentary leader of Chega/Açores, José Pacheco, defended today that the work between deputies and local authorities "has to be productive" to solve the problems of the archipelago. The politician stressed that this cooperation is essential to face the challenges that the region faces.
José Pacheco was speaking in São Jorge, at the end of a session presenting greetings to the president of the Municipal Chamber. During his intervention, he identified the main areas that need priority attention.
Among the problems mentioned by the parliamentary leader of Chega/Açores are housing issues, accessibility, health and lack of workforce. These were pointed out as the main obstacles to the development of the autonomous region.
