The first edition of the Commedia a La Carte festival, which is taking place in Lisbon, is facing a wave of cancellations. Jerry Seinfeld, an American comedian, is the headliner of the event and has publicly expressed his support for Israel, which has generated controversy.
Several artists have already announced the cancellation of their shows at the festival. The show "Pop Tribute," which would bring together Carolina Deslandes, Tatanka and Bárbara Tinoco, was one of the first to be cancelled, as well as the concert by Conjunto Cuca Monga.
Now, Cebola Mol, Inês Aires Pereira and Pedro Tochas have joined the wave of cancellations, adding to the artists who decided not to perform at the Lisbon festival.
The Commedia a La Carte festival continues to take place, still featuring Jerry Seinfeld's performance as the main attraction, despite the multiple withdrawals that have marked its programming.
