Sepultura performs on the Palco Mundo stage at Rock in Rio in a show that, according to guitarist Andreas Kisser, will be marked by a "different emotion." This show represents the last time the band will perform at Cidade do Rock, in addition to being the second-to-last show in Brazil before the official end of the group's activities, a reference in Brazilian heavy metal.
The Rock in Rio festival is part of the band's evolution process. Sepultura played at several editions of the event, always with album releases or exclusive shows that resulted in memorable performances. Among these, there is the DVD recorded with Tambor do Bronx, the special show with Zé Ramalho, and the performance accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra.
Despite being the last performance at Cidade do Rock, Andreas Kisser states that there is no room for sadness. The feeling is one of pride and celebration, representing a "golden finish" for the band's history at the festival.
