The rain hit the City of Rock on Saturday afternoon, the day dedicated to metal at Rock in Rio. After a Friday of stable weather and intense heat, the meteorological scenario changed radically on the second day of the festival.
Saturday's lineup features shows by Sepultura, Bad Omens and Avenged Sevenfold, artists who are expected to be accompanied by fans wearing raincoats over their black t-shirts, the typical look of the metal audience.
At the entrance of the City of Rock, street vendors took advantage of the change in weather and started selling raincoats for R$ 25. Demand increased as the rain gained strength, especially among those who arrived at the festival without protection.
Even in the rain, the audience continued entering normally and filling the spaces in front of the stages to watch the day's shows.
