The first edition of the Commedia a La Carte festival, which brings Jerry Seinfeld to Lisbon, is being marked by a wave of cancellations. Cebola Mol and Inês Aires Pereira joined the list of artists who withdrew from participating in the event.
The headliner of the festival is comedian Jerry Seinfeld, who has been publicly expressing his support for Israel, which has generated some controversy and led several artists to cancel their participation.
Before the cancellations of Cebola Mol and Inês Aires Pereira, other shows had already been cancelled, including the "Pop Tribute," which would have brought Carolina Deslandes, Tatanka and Bárbara Tinoco together at the festival.
The concert by Conjunto Cuca Monga has also been cancelled, increasing the number of withdrawals at this event that promises to be a troubled first edition.
