The main candidates for the government of Minas Gerais campaigned in the interior of the state this Saturday (5). Cleitinho Azevedo, from Republicanos, was in Nova Serrana, in the Midwest region, the largest footwear hub in Minas. He talked with supporters and, in a speech, demanded proposals from presidential candidates to solve Minas' debt with the Union, which exceeds 165 billion reais.

Cleitinho emphasized that the state needs to pay 100 million reais per month in debts, resources that could be invested in infrastructure and health. He criticized the lack of proposals from presidential candidates to reduce the debt along with the next governor.

The public debt was also the theme of Alexandre Kalil's agenda, from PDT, in Patos de Minas, in Alto Paranaíba. In a press conference, he said he is not concerned about the crisis in the Supreme Court involving the party's candidate for governor, Romeu Zema.
