Palmela: 71 companies receive PME Líder 2025 status

The Palmela Municipal Council approved, at the September 2 meeting, a tribute to the 71 companies in the municipality distinguished with the PME Líder 2025 status. This distinction represents recognition of these companies' performance in the local economic context.

The PME Líder 2025 status is awarded by IAPMEI, the body responsible for promoting and boosting small and medium-sized enterprises in Portugal. The award of the status involves partnerships with various entities, including Turismo de Portugal for companies in the tourism sector, partner banking institutions and the Portuguese Development Bank Group.

The distinguished companies demonstrate positive performance in their sectors of activity, meeting the criteria established by the recognition program. The PME Líder status aims to distinguish companies with superior performance profiles, contributing to the enhancement of the Portuguese business fabric.

The Palmela Municipal Council publicly recognized the merit of these 71 companies, highlighting the importance of the business sector for the economic development of the municipality.
