The secretary-general of the PCP considered that the Government "let itself be dragged" by the controversies surrounding the Minister of Internal Administration, Luís Neves. This position was conveyed by the party during a public intervention.
According to the PCP, Luís Neves has "many explanations" to give regarding the controversies that involved his name. The party believes the Executive should have acted more decisively in response to these issues.
The situation arises in the context of a series of controversies that have affected the Minister of Internal Administration, generating political pressure on the Government. The PCP thus expressed its critical position regarding how the situation was managed.
