The public began arriving at Cidade do Rock for the second day of the Rock in Rio 2026 festival, while the gates were still closed. Among the fans of the artists performing this Saturday are locals from Rio and people from other cities, many of them prepared for the rain, which is forecasted for later. The weather, which was clear during the morning, began to cloud over around 12:30 PM.
Around the festival, traffic had no significant congestion. The public used the Expresso, a service that integrates metro and BRT, to get to the venue. The journey was described as quick and smooth by those interviewed.
Among the visitors are Elyziania Araújo, 26 years old, and Pietro Colavite, 24 years old, who left together from Paraguaçu Paulista, in the interior of São Paulo, passed through the capital and went straight to Rio. Without accommodation in the city, the pair plans to make the return trip on Sunday (6th).
