The 2026 edition of the Fair of Benavente kicked off on Friday afternoon and will run until September 13th. The event takes place in the riverside area of the town, where visitors can find gastronomy, entertainment, amusements, and various exhibitors.
This year, the fair features the novelty of the return of the agricultural component, which includes machinery and regional products, something that was not present in previous editions.
At the inauguration ceremony, the fair space was visited by local officials and guests, who were able to see the event's offering up close.
Sónia Ferreira, president of the Benavente City Council, emphasized that until the 13th, the Fair of Benavente will provide lots of fun and gastronomy for visitors.
