PS-M demands written commitment for financing the new hospital

PS-M expressed, this Saturday, concern about the absence of formal guarantees from the Republic Government regarding the financing of 50% of the new construction and equipment phase of the Central and University Hospital of Madeira.

The president of the Madeiran socialists, Célia Pessegueiro, stated at the construction site that the process is advancing without a binding legal and financial commitment from the State, at this time.

Célia Pessegueiro recalled that, according to available information, the process should have shared financing between the Regional Government of Madeira and the Republic Government.
