The Commedia a La Carte festival, whose first edition is currently taking place in Lisbon, is facing a wave of cancellations. Cebola Mol is the latest artist to cancel their performance at the event, joining other names that have already withdrawn from the lineup.
The festival's headliner is American comedian Jerry Seinfeld, who has publicly voiced his support for Israel. This position has generated controversy and pressured various artists to cancel their performances at the event.
Among the already cancelled shows are the "Pop Tribute", which would have brought together artists Carolina Deslandes, Tatanka and Bárbara Tinoco, and the Conjunto Cuca Monga concert. These cancellations are part of a broader movement of artists who have decided not to participate in the festival.
