A 63-year-old man identified as Roger Gregory Cummings died after the car he was driving hit a group of about ten wild pigs and left the road on a rural road in Stephens County, in southern Oklahoma, United States. The accident occurred Wednesday night, but the exact time has not yet been determined.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Cummings was driving along Sandhill Road when he encountered the animals on the road. The vehicle left the road, crossed a ditch and hit a fence. The driver tried to regain control, but the car continued along the fence and rolled over several times. During the accident, he was thrown from the vehicle and the car ended up on top of him.
Authorities reported that Cummings was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision. He had been last seen around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday. The investigation remains ongoing.
