The Moscatel de Favaios Festival returns to Alijó for another edition, taking place between September 11 and 13. The event celebrates Moscatel de Favaios wine, bringing together music, gastronomy and tradition in a festival that draws visitors to the village of Favaios.
The first day's programme features the official opening of the festival, street entertainment and concerts by Paulo Gonzo, The Billers and DJ Nevven. On Saturday, September 12, highlights include the traditional toast with Moscatel de Favaios, accompanied by fireworks, and performances by Delfins, Them Flying Monkeys and DJ Nevven.
The last day is dedicated to the cultural and traditional aspect, with a church service, the presentation of a work dedicated to agriculture and the terminology of remedies and agricultural practices, street entertainment and the Harvest Ball. The festival closes in the evening, after a communal lunch intended for the local population.
