Tree trunks next to Valpaços cemetery transformed into sculptures

The trunks of large trees next to Valpaços cemetery were transformed into sculptures inspired by the community's religious tradition. The intervention came after some trees were felled because they represented a risk to the safety of people and property. The municipality sought to give a new purpose to the trunks that remained on site, preserving them through this artistic solution.
