Slovenian cyclist Tadej Pogacar renewed his contract with UAE Emirates until 2032, the team announced. This renewal guarantees that the Slovenian rider will remain with the Emirati team for several more seasons.
The team also revealed that Pogacar will only return to competition in 2027. This prolonged break is due to a fall he suffered during the Vuelta a España, which forced him to interrupt his season.
Pogacar is considered one of the best cyclists of the current era, having won multiple titles in WorldTour events. The renewal until 2032 demonstrates the confidence that UAE Emirates places in the 26-year-old rider.
With this contract extension, the team ensures the continuity of its main athlete for the near future, planning Pogacar's return to competitions only at the beginning of 2027.
