Spanish government controls Ceuta port to house migrants

The Spanish government approved a decree to take control of the Ceuta port and authorize the installation of tents to temporarily house more than a thousand migrants in the Poniente breakwater area. The measure aims to address the massive arrival of migrants to the Spanish city on African territory. The decree allows the executive to assume management of the port for humanitarian reception purposes. The tents will be set up in the Poniente breakwater area to provide temporary shelter to migrants arriving in the city.
