Robert Pattinson was present at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival on Saturday (5) for the world premiere of the film "Primetime", directed by Lance Oppenheim. The documentary follows journalist Chris Hansen's trajectory and the creation of the "To Catch a Predator" program, known for exposing before cameras men suspected of seeking meetings with minors online.
During a press conference at the Lido, Pattinson responded to criticism made by Chris Hansen about his interpretation in the film. The presenter considered the performance overly dramatic after watching the trailer and did not participate in filming nor saw the result before the premiere screening.
The information about the controversy was published by the British outlet Screen Daily. On the occasion, Pattinson stated that he hopes Hansen likes the film.
