During this long weekend, two neighborhoods in Rio de Janeiro's South Zone will have special programming for those who enjoy music, shopping and outdoor activities. In Catete, Gira Música arrives at its 11th edition, bringing together a fair dedicated to vinyl, shows, DJs, gastronomy and other cultural activities. The novelty is that the event takes place for the first time at Ciep Tancredo Neves, at Rua do Catete 77, from 10am to 8pm.
The event in Catete will feature exhibitors from Rio de Janeiro and other states, offering LPs, singles, books, fashion, crafts and collectible objects. A special exhibition will also recall old record stores that were important to the Rio music scene between the 1970s and 1990s.
In Copacabana, Rua Santa Clara will be occupied by the first street fair of the Santa Clara 33 project, bringing together about 50 small entrepreneurs. The event will offer diverse options such as ceramics, pilates, yoga and drawing, expanding the alternatives of activities for those looking to unwind during the long weekend.
The text also briefly mentions the Rio Gastronomia event, which will feature the debut of award-winning restaurants, return of veterans and a space dedicated to historic bars, completing the long weekend programming in the city.
