Henrique Barreira, a 25-year-old actor born in Rio de Janeiro, is expanding his career and gaining prominence in the novel "Quem ama cuida," his first 9 PM prime time storyline. In the story, he plays André, a lawyer who arrives in Brazil to work at his uncle Ademir's law firm, a character played by Dan Stulbach, and ends up getting romantically involved with Dora, played by Mariana Ximenes.
Henrique's relationship with acting began in adolescence. At age 12, he joined the theater school O Tablado, in Rio de Janeiro, where he stayed until age 17. This experience on stage opened the way for other work and led him to study Theater Direction at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
While filming the 9 PM prime time novel, the actor is preparing for new projects in audio-visual. He will also be in theaters in September with the film "Antártida," expanding his work beyond television.
