MOTELX 20th edition of the Lisbon International Horror Film Festival is the biggest ever

The 20th edition of MOTELX, the Lisbon International Horror Film Festival, is underway and is considered the biggest ever since its creation.

The festival takes place at Cinema São Jorge in Lisbon, extending for the first time over 11 days, from August 30 to September 13.

Among the festival's sections, "Lost in Europe: Horror Behind the Iron Curtain" stands out, which will take place at the Cinemateca Portuguesa.

MOTELX is the main horror film event in Portugal and this year celebrates two decades of existence.

Carnival: Portela chooses samba-enredo to honor Monarco in 2027; see lyrics
