Rescue teams in Nepal managed to pull two survivors alive ten days after the major floods hit the country. This discovery occurred almost a week after authorities had declared the search and rescue operations as concluded.
The first survivor found was a man, who was discovered inside a tunnel of a hydroelectric power plant. Authorities have not yet disclosed the identity or physical condition of this rescued man.
The second survivor was a woman who was buried under the rubble of a house destroyed by the floods. Her health condition was not immediately known.
