The institutional website of the municipality of Sabrosa, available at www.sabrosa.pt, was distinguished with the Usability and Digital Accessibility Seal, at the Gold level, awarded by the Agency for State Technological Reform (ARTE). This is the highest of the three levels provided for in the certification, which also includes the Silver and Bronze tiers.
The municipality, led by Helena Lapa, revealed that the distinction recognizes compliance with usability and digital accessibility requirements, both in terms of content and the use of digital services. The seal comes within the scope of a broader process of updating the municipal website, which will soon be completed and aims to meet the most demanding standards in this area.
The municipality highlighted that inclusive digitalization is a determining factor in promoting equal access to public services for all citizens, regardless of their physical and cognitive abilities. With this certification, Sabrosa reinforces its commitment to the digital transformation of public services, in order to ensure that information and municipal services are increasingly accessible, simple, and inclusive.
The obtaining of the Gold Seal comes through an application to the notice under the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), within the scope of the Development of Projects for the Reformulation of Public Service Attendance, representing a total investment of 12,300 euros and an eligible cost of ten thousand euros.
