The Maritime Police seized 1.4 kilograms of cocaine on the maritime coastline of the island of Corvo, in the Azores. The seizure was carried out on Thursday by elements of the Local Command of the Maritime Police of Horta, who detected and collected the packaging containing the drug.
According to a press release from the National Maritime Authority, the drug was found in packaging on the coastal zone of the island of Corvo, the smallest and northernmost island of the Azores archipelago.
