The Anadia Municipal Council approved the adjudication of the road network requalification project in several parishes of the municipality, for an investment of approximately 1.4 million euros, plus VAT. The work was awarded to the company Prioridade – Construção de Vias de Comunicação, Lda., for 1,426,409.63 euros, and will have an execution period of four months.
The intervention includes paving work on road sections that show signs of degradation, with the objective of improving accessibility, mobility and road safety conditions. The works will focus on different areas of the municipality, prioritizing roads where the pavement condition justifies intervention.
The municipality also stated that the road sections covered should have water supply and sanitation networks in adequate conditions of conservation and operation before the works are carried out.
With this investment, the local authority continues the strategy of enhancement and maintenance of the municipal road network, promoting better accessibility between parishes and contributing to quality of life, road safety and territorial cohesion.
