"Caring for those who care" for informal caregivers

The Cultural Center of Alcáçovas, headquarters of Terras Dentro, holds on September 7th an initiative dedicated to the theme "Caring for those who care," aimed at informal caregivers. The event aims to offer support and attention to people who perform the role of informal caregivers, that is, individuals who provide assistance to family members or other people without formal professional training in this area. The initiative recognizes the importance of the well-being of those who dedicate their time and energy to caring for others. The chosen location for the event is the Cultural Center, which serves as the headquarters of the Terras Dentro organization.

The Mafra Station, located on the Oeste Line between Lisbon and Figueira da Foz, is about eight kilometres from the town of Mafra and preserves the nineteenth-century architecture typical of this centenary railway line.
