A 67-year-old woman was injured in the early hours of Saturday when she fell while getting off an urban bus in the Palheiro Ferreiro area, Madeira. The accident occurred around 01:00 and the victim suffered trauma to her knees.
The Madeiran Voluntary Firefighters were called to the scene, dispatching with an ambulance and three operatives.
The injured woman was subsequently transported to the Emergency Department of the Central Hospital of Funchal to receive treatment.
