Romania has filed formal charges against Andrew Tate for child trafficking and money laundering. The digital influencer and his brothers remain detained in the United States while awaiting analysis of an extradition request from the United Kingdom.

Andrew Tate, together with his brother Tristan, are known figures of the "manosphere," an online movement that promotes extreme masculine ideologies. Both are suspected of sexually violating and exploiting women and children.

The case involves multiple jurisdictions, with Romanian authorities proceeding with the legal process while the brothers are currently imprisoned in the US. The extradition request from the United Kingdom is currently under review by American authorities.
