Benfica will play on Saturday their fourth game in Liga Portugal Betclic, facing Marítimo at the home team's stadium, in Madeira, in the 5th round of the competition. The "encarnados" seek victory to climb the standings and get closer to the top places of the table.
In the last match, Benfica beat Estoril 2-1, at the Estádio da Luz, also in the 4th round. Marco Silva's team arrived at half-time with the lead thanks to a goal by Pavlidis, who took advantage of a rebound in the area at 40 minutes. Lenglet increased the difference at the start of the second half, before Begraoui reduced the deficit for the visitors.
The probable starting eleven for the game in Madeira includes Samuel Soares; Alexander Bah, Tomás Araújo, Lenglet and Samuel Dahl; João Palhinha and Leandro Barreiro; Rafa, Georgiy Sudakov and Gianluca Prestianni; and Vangelis Pavlidis in attack.
Before the match, Marco Silva spoke to journalists at the pre-match press conference, agreeing that Marítimo has started the competition well with good results, which he considered positive for a team that returned to the top division.
