The "Convívios Fraternos" Catholic youth pastoral movement in Portugal holds its 52nd National Encounter (ENCF) 2026, today and tomorrow, in Fátima, under the theme "United to Serve," inspired by the Gospel of Saint John. The encounter brings together participants from various dioceses at the Sanctuary of Fátima, including the Chapel of the Apparitions, the Paul VI Pastoral Centre, and the Missionaries of Consolata, where welcomes, group activities, and workshops took place. Founded in 1968 by Father Valente de Matos in Castelo Branco, the Fraternal Conviviality is a first announcement experience that aims to awaken young people to faith through a three-day residential retreat.
