Looking to break out of stagnation in polling numbers for the São Paulo governor's race, Fernando Haddad (PT) wants to intensify events with President Lula (PT) throughout September. The two appeared together at the launch of the president's campaign on August 16 in São Bernardo do Campo, but since then Lula has divided his agenda between government commitments and campaign events in Brasília and other states, leaving São Paulo in the background.
During this month, the two are expected to appear together more often, starting with an event in São José do Rio Preto, in the interior of the state, this Saturday (5). It will be a public event in the city center that will bring together Lula, Haddad, Vice President Geraldo Alckmin (PSB), and the Senate candidates for the state.
