In 1953, Verdú Artesanos opened its doors in Dénia (Alicante) as a small family ice cream shop, remaining true to the philosophy of direct-to-consumer sales for decades, in addition to the gradual incorporation of new products. It continued like this until five years ago, when it decided to make a radical change in its strategy, betting on online commerce and communication based on showing how they make their ice creams and sweets and who is behind the entire process. The result could not have been more impressive, since during this period the company tripled its billing, standing close to two million euros, thanks to a deseasonalization of its activity that allows it to sell throughout the entire year.
