The 2026 Open Day "Roots in the Land, Eyes on the Future" is scheduled for today at the Neves-Corvo Mine. The event is an initiative by the company Boliden Somincor, in collaboration with the Municipality of Castro Verde.

This activity takes place as part of the fifth edition of the Castro Mineiro Festival. The festival aims to bring the local community closer to the mining activities of the region.

Those interested can visit the mine's facilities during this open day, which offers the opportunity to see firsthand the operations and work carried out at the Neves-Corvo Mine.
