The 5th edition of the Festival Castro Mineiro opened this Friday, September 4, at Parque da Liberdade, in Castro Verde. The event runs until Sunday and has free entry.

The festival program is dedicated to music, Alentejo cante, archaeological heritage and mining activity. The official opening session was attended by the Minister of Culture.
