OFFICIAL: Arouca signs Croatian winger and terminates contract with goalkeeper

Maisfutebol4 September 2026 at 23:16

Arouca officially announced the signing of Croatian winger Gabriel Rukavina from Rijeka. The 24-year-old player thus strengthens the Portuguese team's attack, having arrived to fill a gap in the club's offensive sector.

Conversely, goalkeeper Nico Mantl saw his contract with Arouca terminated by mutual agreement. The German goalkeeper, who had recently terminated his contract with Leipzig, thus leaves the Portuguese club without having played any official competition for the blue and whites of Arouca.

Both operations were confirmed by the club officially, on a day of intense activity in the transfer market. Rukavina thus becomes the new signing for Arouca for the current season.
