Sony Interactive Entertainment and Firesprite Games announced the official release date of Until Dawn 2, marking an important new date on the calendar for fans of the genre. The game promises to take interactive horror to a new level, following in the footsteps of the original title that became a landmark in narrative horror games.

Until Dawn 2 is the direct sequel to the original game released for PlayStation 4, which allowed players to make decisions that directly influenced the story and the survival of the characters. The new sequel brings elevated expectations to continue this tradition of branching narrative and choices with consequences.

The developer Firesprite Games, a studio based in Liverpool, is responsible for developing the project in partnership with Sony Interactive Entertainment. The studio has experience in interactive and narrative projects for the PlayStation platform.

The announcement was received with enthusiasm by the gaming community, especially those who appreciate narrative horror experiences. As of the time of the article, the specific release date was still being awaited by fans to plan their experiences with the game.
