Artist Hitmaker energized the audience at the Favela Space at Rock in Rio this Friday, the 4th, showing that the festival also has room for funk. The performance started with several hits of his own and featured special appearances that drove the audience into a frenzy.
The first special appearance was singer Melody, who showed up at the show. The audience went wild over the artist's presence, who is one of Hitmaker's new collaborators.
Another major surprise was Anitta's presence, who hadn't been seen at the festival since 2019. The powerful artist appeared in at least two songs during the performance, including the carnival hit "Sei que tu me odeia," which featured choreography.
The funk moment amid the festival caught the attention of spectators like Luana Santos, 38 years old, who said she had come to the event to see Foo Fighters but enjoyed the moment, saying she values funk culture. She shared that she used to live in Salvador and does fit dance.
