Elanco Certification Provides Access to Sustainable Rural Credit

Elanco Animal Health announced during Expointer 2026 the creation of the Positive Efficiency+ Certification, a protocol validated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock for pasture-based beef cattle. The goal is to allow certified farms to access discounts on interest rates from the Harvest Plan for production and investment. The certification, developed according to MAPA Ordinance No. 876/2025, allows automatic inclusion of properties in the AgroBrasil + Sustainable Platform, facilitating access to financing lines with subsidized interest rates. The mechanism aims to economically enable the transition to low-carbon cattle ranching, linking productive efficiency indicators and emission reduction to more favorable credit conditions. To obtain certification, the property must adopt Zimprova™, the company's veterinary product.
