Croatian defender Toni Borevkovic is returning to Vitória de Guimarães. The player, who had already represented the Minho club the previous season, was on loan to Turkish side Samsunspor.

Borevkovic returns to Portugal through a new loan, this time from Turkish side Samsunspor to Vitória de Guimarães. The central defender had transferred to Samsunspor during the last transfer window.

This is the Croatian's second stint at the Guimarães club. In the previous season, Borevkovic demonstrated his defensive qualities serving the first team of Vitória de Guimarães.

With this loan, the 26-year-old player once again has the opportunity to play in the Portuguese Primeira Liga, this time with the aim of gaining more competition minutes before returning to Samsunspor at the end of the season.
