The Flight, an aerial show produced by Esquadrilha Céu, will now allow the public to acquire the experience of flying in acrobatic aircraft over Rio de Janeiro before heading to Cidade do Rock. The proposal is to transform the arrival at the festival into part of the show, combining aerial maneuvers with a privileged view of the event. The participant is picked up in private transport from a previously chosen location and taken to the Clube de Aeronáutica da Barra (CAER), near Cidade do Rock, where the flight takes place.
The experience was tested by the GLOBO team, which flew over Cidade do Rock during the acrobatic maneuvers of the aircraft. The ticket that grants the right to the flight includes VIP access to Rock in Rio, private round-trip transport between the chosen location, CAER and the festival, as well as onboard service. The Flight was launched at the last edition of Rock in Rio, in 2022, and is now expanding to allow fans to experience the arrival at the festival in a differentiated way.
