The Rock na Mina event is scheduled for October 3, at Campo de Jales, in Vreia de Jales. The initiative is promoted by Juventude Jalota, with the support of Associação Ouro and the Parish Council of Vreia de Jales, and aims to help families affected by a fire in the Bairro da Sainça.
Under the motto "Every purchase helps rebuild", the bar proceeds from the event will be entirely destined to support the reconstruction of the homes hit by the fire. The organization states its intention to unite the community around a concrete cause, transforming a night of rock into a concrete gesture of solidarity.
Andreia Pereira, communication manager for Rock na Mina, stated that each person can be part of this reconstruction through their consumption at the event. The organization hopes to gather an audience from Vreia de Jales, from Vila Pouca de Aguiar, and from other points in the region.
On stage will be the bands Blash, Faixa 13 and Aguapurga, as well as DJ Alternador de Discos, combining culture, music and entertainment with this solidarity initiative.
