The Municipal Swimming Pools of Vila Praia de Âncora are temporarily closed to the public due to maintenance works. The closure was announced today by the Caminha City Council.
In a statement, the municipality states that the intervention is necessary to ensure operating conditions, safety and comfort for all users. The ongoing works include deep cleaning of indoor and outdoor spaces, washing of surrounding areas and access routes, maintenance of grates and support equipment for the swimming pools, as well as other repairs and essential conservation work for the proper functioning of the infrastructure.
The city council explains that this intervention is part of the regular maintenance strategy for municipal equipment, allowing the preservation of the quality of services provided and reinforcing the conditions of safety, comfort and functionality of the facilities.
The reopening of the swimming pools to the public is scheduled for September 16th.
