The Parque das Cidades in Loulé hosts from September 11 to 13 the 10th edition of the Loulé Truck Drivers' Meeting, an initiative promoted by the Loulé Municipal Council. This is a biennial event that this year celebrates a decade of existence, dedicated to professionals linked to road transport.
The meeting aims to celebrate the culture associated with the road and strengthen the bonds of friendship and camaraderie among those who make road transport a central part of their professional activity. Over the years, the event has established itself as a tradition that goes beyond the strictly professional universe, also attracting families and enthusiasts of heavy vehicles.
The program includes heavy vehicle exhibitions, showcase of sector-related brands, food stall area and various musical entertainment moments, with performances by Romana, Quina Barreiros, Remember 80/90, João Paulo Cavaco and Al-Fanfare. During the three days, visitors can get a closer look at the trucks on display and the daily life of those who travel Portuguese and international roads.
For sector professionals, the meeting also constitutes an opportunity to reunite with colleagues, share experiences accumulated over thousands of kilometres and exchange opinions on the changes and challenges facing the sector. Participation in the 10th Loulé Truck Drivers' Meeting is free.
