Flamengo diagnosed an injury to the adductor muscle of Evertton Araújo's left thigh. The midfielder became an absence for an indefinite period for coach Leonardo Jardim. The injury was confirmed after reassessment at Ninho do Urubu, the club's training center.
Evertton Araújo was injured during the match against Mirassol last Wednesday. The player needed to be substituted at halftime due to pain in his left thigh.
The initial evaluation by the medical department already indicated that the player's condition required further attention. This concern was confirmed after the exams performed at Ninho do Urubu.
The recovery time has not yet been defined, and the player will remain out of Flamengo's training and matches until a new medical evaluation.
