Helena Leal reinforced the importance of talking about sexual health with the community, highlighting the role of local government in disseminating knowledge. The Funchal City Council marked World Sexual Health Day with the holding of a conference.

The councilor stated that it is necessary to create opportunities for people to have more information and feel motivated to talk about these topics. "Knowledge is an excellent tool for prevention," Helena Leal stated.

The mayor also mentioned the need to reach everyone, regardless of age, highlighting the importance of involving the entire community in these sexual health issues.
